Terms & Conditions

Last updated: [DATE]. These Terms govern your use of slabfever.com (the "Site") and your purchase of SlabFever packs. Please read them carefully.

Template — attorney review required. This document is a starting draft prepared for a pre-launch preview. Bracketed items are placeholders. Have a licensed attorney in your jurisdiction review it before you accept payments or run ads. Laws on chance-based products, sweepstakes, and consumer protection vary by state and country.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old (or the age of majority where you live, if higher) and legally able to enter a binding contract to use the Site or make a purchase. By purchasing, you represent that you meet these requirements. We may require age or identity verification and may refuse or cancel orders where the law prohibits sale of chance-based collectible products or where we cannot verify eligibility. Not available where prohibited.

2. Your account

You need an account to buy packs. You are responsible for keeping your login secure and for all activity under your account. Provide accurate information and keep it current. One account per person. We may suspend or close accounts that violate these Terms.

3. The products

SlabFever sells "packs," each of which corresponds to exactly one professionally graded trading card ("slab") from our inventory. The slab assigned to a pack is determined by a randomized process before you purchase, and is revealed to you on screen immediately after purchase. You receive the specific physical slab revealed, including its grader, grade, and certification number. Contents are randomized; you are purchasing a pack whose contents are unknown to you at the time of purchase.

Slabs are authentic, previously graded collectible cards sold on the secondary market. Grades are those assigned by third-party grading services (for example PSA or Beckett) and can be verified on the grader's website using the cert number printed on the slab you receive. SlabFever does not grade cards and makes no independent representation about a grader's assessment.

4. Odds disclosure

Before purchase we publish, for each pack type, the probability of receiving a slab within each value tier. For the First-Timer Pack the current tiers are: Base ($10–$49), Holo ($50–$249), Grail ($250–$999), and Jackpot ($1,000–$2,500). Current probabilities are shown on the odds table. [Confirm final odds and insert here before launch.]

Value ranges are estimates based on recent comparable market sales at the time the pack is assembled. They are not appraisals, not guarantees of resale value, and may change with market conditions. The $2,500 figure is the maximum estimated value of the single most valuable slab available in the pool, not a typical or expected outcome.

5. Pricing and the First-Timer offer

The First-Timer Pack is offered at $4.99 to new customers who have not previously purchased from SlabFever. Limit one per person, household, email address, and payment method. We may cancel orders, void packs, or suspend accounts we reasonably believe are abusing the offer (for example, duplicate accounts). After the First-Timer Pack, packs are sold at the regular prices displayed at the time of purchase. Prices exclude shipping and any applicable taxes, which are shown at checkout.

6. Payment

Payment is processed by our third-party payment processor [PROCESSOR]. By placing an order you authorize the charge for the total shown at checkout. We do not store full card numbers. Chargebacks initiated after a pack has been revealed may result in account suspension and recovery of the item or its value where permitted by law.

7. Shipping, returns and refunds

Shipping

Physical slabs ship to the address on your account within [X] business days of reveal via [CARRIER], with tracking. Shipping costs and available regions are shown at checkout. [Insert regions served.] Risk of loss passes to you on delivery.

Refunds

Because a pack's contents are revealed immediately upon purchase, all pack sales are final once revealed, except as required by law. If a slab arrives damaged, lost in transit, or materially different from what was revealed (wrong card or cert), contact us within [14] days of delivery and we will replace it or refund the purchase price.

Unrevealed packs

If a technical error prevents a reveal, we will either complete the reveal or refund the pack at our discretion.

8. Prohibited conduct

  • Creating multiple accounts or using false information to obtain promotional pricing.
  • Using bots, scripts, or automated tools to purchase or interact with the Site.
  • Reselling packs (as opposed to revealed slabs) or representing yourself as affiliated with SlabFever.
  • Interfering with the Site's security or randomization systems.

12. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of [New York], without regard to conflict-of-law rules. [Insert dispute resolution / arbitration clause and venue after attorney review.] Nothing in these Terms limits rights you have under mandatory consumer-protection law in your jurisdiction.
